Reproduction Hardware

Anyone who has worked on an old house knows how hard it is to find period hardware – the right hinge or doorknob – let alone a house lot of the same thing.

As much as I prefer to use original hardware whenever I can, sometimes it’s necessary to go with reproduction hardware and, to that end, Artefacts has acquired a limited supply of quality pieces bringing the late Victorian age back to life.

Made of either cast iron or cast brass, these pieces are at once robust and delicate offering a range of styles modelled on original hardware – much of it sourced at Artefacts over the years.

There are too many patterns to easily show here so I’ve produced a catalogue to help you search for what you need.
