Decor

It’s almost impossible to explain a lot of what we carry and calling it “Decor” is doing it a bit of a disservice but we routinely come across the greatest stuff without quite knowing what to do with it.

I find I like to live with a piece for a while and see where that takes me. Sometimes a great use suggest itself and, at other times, I just like to ponder that piece and where it came from – a carved wood fragment from a church, the dynamic design of tin ceiling sheet, the patina of an aged iron fence section.

The thing about these pieces is that you don’t know you need them until you chance upon them.  At Artefacts, we have all sorts of finds – a few of which you may not be able to deny!

While we do our best to showcase our pieces digitally, a visit to the shop is the way to soak it all in.
