While we do get some spectacular pieces, in excellent condition and ready to go back to use, this is the exception and not the rule. More often than not, our finds have either seen better days, are fragmented or maybe have no particular modern application.
We regularly reinterpret our salvage, breathing new life into the past. This may require minor repairs or major intervention. It may mean that a piece is stripped of the “Thrills Gum” purple paint in favour of a natural finish or a new/old finish in distressed paint. Sometimes we marry several elements into one new being.
