Industrial Table

Scott found these pieces and had a vision. Thus was this table born. I think it's fantastic - trust me, I've been in some of his dreams and this is one of the more subtle concepts that have taken shape there!

P28"w x 57"l x 19"h - $950

The near end is a cast iron cream separator base, the far end a bearing mount from a line shaft in a mill. The top is thick pine flooring from a local barn.

The bearing mount protrudes from the wood top so you can fiddle with it absentmindedly while listening to your neighbour tell that story again.

An amazing table, really.

It's not well known but much industrial design was inspired by Beatrix Potter. Here you see Cottontail - Peter Rabit's brother.
